  Of course! I sneak in BlogClan names wherever I can (sadly, the opportunity rarely arises). In this case, there was a character called DawnsomethingIcan’tremember which was too similar to another character’s name, so I switched it to mist 🙂

I haven’t started school yet. >:) I start on the 7th, and I’ll be going into Year 8 (that’s about the same as seventh grade for you Americans) 😛

    The ages for each year, you mean? Goes like this-
    
    Infants-(Key Stage One)
    
    Reception- (4 – 5)
    Year 1- (5 – 6)
    Year 2- (6 – 7)
    
    Juniors- (Key Stage Two)
    
    Year 3- (7 – 8)
    Year 4- (8 – 9)
    Year 5- (9 -10)
    Year 6- (10 – 11)
    
    (Infants and juniors are taught in primary schools. Also, a lot of kidsgo to nursery schools before Infants, which can be either part of the main school or not)
    
    Secondary School- (Year 7 and 8 and 9 are Key Stage Three, others are four)
    
    Year 7- (11 – 12
    Year 8- (12 – 13)
    Year 9- (13 – 14)
    Year 10- (14 – 15)
    Year 11- (15 – 16) (If I’m correct, this is the year where GCSE’s are taken)
    
    After that, you can either enter sixth form or college for two years, which is where you can get A-Levels. They’re referred to as Years 12 and 13. Sixth forms are often connected to secondary schools, but they’re fairly separate, they wear whatever they want and stuff.
    
    After that, you can go to university and stuff and get more achievements… I’m not sure. XD I may be wrong in parts of this.
    
    Secondary schools are often much larger than primary schools and each year group is split into tutor groups (mine is split into seven tutor groups in each year)
    
    And so that’s the English school system. 😛

        This isn’t exact science, but here’s somewhat of how it goes.
        Preschool (4-5)
        Kindergarten (5-6)
        
        Elementary School
        
        1st Grade (6-7)
        2nd Grade (7-8)
        3rd Grade (8-9)
        4th Grade (9-10)
        5th Grade (10-11)
        
        Middle School/Junior High
        
        6th Grade (11-12)
        7th Grade (12-13)
        8th Grade (13-14)
        
        High School
        
        9th Grade (14-15)
        10th Grade (15-16)
        11th Grade (16-17)
        12th Grade (17-18)
        And then one can go on to college, if they like.

That makes me feel so old! I’m going into sixth form tomorrow. Seriously though, year 8 is by far the best year, so make the most of it!
